Sugar Slay

Sugar Slay is a health app, and pet simulator, with fun mini-games, customizations, and more. By connecting to Dexcom sensors, which are small discreet sensor measures glucose just beneath the skin that sends glucose readings every 5 minutes, and wearable technology like a smartwatch or Oura rings, the app receives a flurry of data including but not limited to heart rate, sleep score, exercise and activity, and glucose levels. All of this connects to an in-game pet that you can take care of as they build the habits required for diabetes management. The pet can be customized with items and skins purchased with coins that are won by playing our mini-games, many of which have an informational component to educate the users about diabetes and general health.
